TAS Childcare Microgrant

The Abundance Setting (TAS) supports women and working mothers in the culinary and hospitality industries. The TAS Childcare Microgrant provides one-time financial assistance to working parents in hospitality whose childcare responsibilities create barriers to maintaining or advancing their careers. This pilot is intended to help with a specific childcare need that could make it easier for you to work, pursue a professional opportunity, or move forward in your hospitality career. Eligible childcare expenses may include licensed childcare, summer camps, before- or after-school care, emergency childcare, babysitting during work shifts, childcare transportation, and other approved childcare expenses.

Application deadline: December 1, 2026

Grant amount: Up to $2500

Applicants must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Live in the Chicago metropolitan area
• Currently work in the hospitality industry
• Have at least one dependent child under age 14
• Have a childcare-related barrier affecting employment or career advancement
• Be able to use awarded funds within 90 days
